Craig Bellamy is set to miss the rest of the season for Manchester City with a knee injury. The Wales captain has missed City's last three games with the problem and is not expected to play any further part as the club hunt seventh place and a spot in next season's Europa League - the revamped UEFA Cup. Mark Hughes said defender Pablo Zabaleta would also be out 'for a number of games' after the Argentina international injured a hamstring during the 4-2 defeat of West Bromwich Albion on Sunday. Bellamy has scored five goals in 11 games since his January move from West Ham and Hughes said: 'Craig has got to have complete rest for two weeks then he comes back for strength work. 'Hopefully he might get the last couple of games, but the probability is that he won't.' Shaun Wright-Phillips has missed City's last three games with an ankle injury, but Hughes is optimistic about his chances of returning. 'He had a bang on the bone and it's still sore but the scan was positive,' said the boss. 'Once the swelling in and around the injury has settled then hopefully he'll be an option again.'
