Barry wants to set ground rules at DW

Roberto Mancini?s men are desperate to get their Premier League top-four push back on track before the pacesetters get a chance to break away. Barry is adamant that the Blues must secure a first-ever win at Wigan?s DW Stadium tomorrow after losing at Sunderland and drawing at home to Blackburn. City have picked up just two points from their five league visits to the Latics? home, but Barry believes a win tomorrow would set things up nicely for a hectic fortnight. The Wigan clash is the first of five games in 15 days for City, a spell which includes the visit of Premier League leaders Chelsea to Eastlands and a mouthwatering Europa League clash with Juventus. Barry said: ?It?s another tough away game at Wigan, but it?s important we get three points after Sunderland and Blackburn. We need to bounce back. ?Things are starting to settle the longer we spend together. The manager said after Blackburn that we now have a run of games, two a week, before the next international break, and if we can get a run together it will set us up nicely.? Thursday night?s 2-0 Europa League win over Red Bull Salzburg has given City just the boost they needed ahead of the trip to Wigan. But Mancini is likely to switch his side round again, having rested Adam Johnson and James Milner in Austria. Both are set to return to the starting line-up, while Micah Richards is battling to regain his right-back spot from Pablo Zabaleta. Mancini is hopeful that Wayne Bridge will shake off a knee problem to continue at left-back, although Emmanuel Adebayor is still struggling with a hamstring problem. Jerome Boateng is nearing full fitness following a knee injury which has kept him out of action since mid-August. The Blues? inconsistent start to the season has nothing on that of Wigan, who were thrashed 4-0 by Blackpool and 6-0 by Chelsea in their first two home games, then won 1-0 at Tottenham. But City?s former Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure believes it is exactly that kind of unpredictability that makes the Premier League so exciting. Toure, who moved to Manchester from Spain during the summer, said: ?That?s why I am happy to come to England. "When you see Barcelona play against Zaragoza or someone they can score four, five, six goals. ?But here you have Blackpool coming from the Championship, and they are not so easy. ?I like that challenge, that difficulty, but it means this year will be very tough for City. ?We will have to play well.
