Barry rubbishes talk of discontent

Gareth Barry insists the Manchester City dressing room is fully behind manager Roberto Mancini. The England midfielder has already apologised to the Italian for his behaviour last week, when he ended up in student accommodation with team-mates Joe Hart, Shay Given and Adam Johnson on a raucous evening in St Andrews. Mancini was not impressed. It certainly gave off a bad impression which only fuelled talk of discontent within the Blues camp following Saturday's shattering defeat at Wolves. But Barry insists reports that senior figures within the City dressing room want Mancini out are wide of the mark. "The truth is that there is a group of players working together, working hard and working for the manager, trying to do the right things," Barry told www.mcfc.co.uk. "Everyone in that dressing room and that training complex wants to do their best for Manchester City Football Club."
