Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the UEFA Europa League where Manchester City travel to Greece for the first leg of their last 32 clash. Roberto Mancini's side are favourites to progress overall and will hope to secure an advantage away from home to take back to Eastlands. Email me all your thoughts on the game at dan.ripley@dailymail.co.uk[LNB] Aris 0-0 Manchester City (5pm)Aris Salonika: Sifakis, Vangeli, Guiaro, Lazaridis, Michel, Neto (Castillo 88), Prittas, Faty, Sakata, Toja, Bobadilla (Cesarec 72).Subs: Vellidis, Oriol, Kaznaferis, Mendrinos, Cesnauskis.[LNB]Man City: Hart, Richards, Boateng, Toure, Kolarov, Barry, Toure Yaya, Wright-Phillips (Balotelli 77), Tevez, Silva, Dzeko (Zabaleta 84).Subs: Given, Kompany, Lescott, Vieira, Jo.[LNB]Referee: Alberto Undiano Mallenco (Spain) [LNB]18.53: The only mark against them is the lack of any away goals to help strengthen their position. That means a score draw in Manchester will see them eliminated.[LNB]That's all from me here, thank your following and remember to follow Sportsmail's coverage of tonight's Champions League encounter between Ac Milan and Spurs which kicks off at 7.45pm.[LNB]18.50: Not the greatest game you will ever see but that is not a bad result for City who will be hot favourites to progress in the second-leg at Eastlands.[LNB]Full-time: Aris 0-0 Manchester City[LNB]90+2min: This looks to be the last chance for City as they win a corner, but Kolarov's cross is cleared by the first man. What a waste.[LNB]90min: Two minutes added on.[LNB]89min: Ah good chance for Richards, he wins a header from a corner but doesn't get enough contact as it sails wide.[LNB]88min: Former Manchester City player Nery Castillo will play the last couple of minutes, replacing Neto.[LNB]87min: Good play from Balotelli. Jerome Boateng pings a long ball to him in the box and the Italian brings the ball down well before firing a bicycle kick wide.[LNB]Better contact than Wayne Rooney but not as accurate.[LNB]84min: That's the end of the three forwards experiment, Pablo Zabaleta is on for Dzeko.[LNB]81min: Dzeko looks to have lined up as the main striker with Balotelli on the left.[LNB]Skipper, Tevez seems to have taken up a free role behind the attack.[LNB]78min: So Balotelli, Tevez and Dzeko all on one pitch, should be interesting to see how this fares.[LNB]77min: And here comes Balotelli, replacing the once again disappointing Wright-Phillips.[LNB]76min: Surprised it has taken this long but there is our first booking as Dzeko is booked for a clumsy foul on Faty.[LNB]73min: Mancini looks to have had enough too. He signals to Mario Balotelli on the bench to get warmed up as he is going on.[LNB]72min: First chance from Aris. Bobadilla comes off to be replaced by Danijel Cesarec.[LNB]70min: Good strike from Dzeko, 25 yards out he hits a powerful effort that flashes just past the post. Sifakis was diving at thin air.[LNB]69min: The game finally seems to have opened up, It's definitely a more lively affair as both sides seem to have just found out it's goals that win games. [LNB]66min: And another brilliant save! This time though it's Hart, as Neto's curling effort with the outside of his right boot looks destined for the top corner until the England keeper palms it away with an outstretched arm.[LNB]64min: Chance of the match! Dzeko headers a lovely cross from deep by Barry towards goal, but his powerful effort is excellently tipped over by Sifakis.[LNB] Confusion: Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez both challenge for the same ball[LNB]62min: It's a poor delivery from Neto as his own team mate Ricardo Faty can only head the ball up and away from the City goal. I am seriously doubting any chance of a goal in this game.[LNB]61min: Another free-kick for Aris out on the left and this is perhaps their best spell of the match.[LNB]59min: As I said, he can hit them, but not this time as his right foot strike easily bounces in to the arms of Hart.[LNB]58min: Remember what I said about set-pieces? Here is a good chance for Aris 25 yards out, and Neto can hit them...[LNB] 56min: Barry is playing almost like a quarter-back as he tries to constantly pick out Wright-Phillips on the right flank. His passing has been fine but the winger once again hasn't delivered.[LNB]53min: Very scrappy this, when City attack they just come up against two banks of four, while the home side lack the quality to really sting them on the counter attack.[LNB]50min: Now it's Aris' turn for a corner after some scrappy play on the wing. Set-pieces I feel will be the deciding factor in this game, but not this one as City clear easily.[LNB]47min: City win a corner but Kolarov's clumsy cross is easily cleared, please don't let that set the tone for the half.[LNB]Second-half: Aris kick us off again, crowd slightly quieter this time.[LNB]17.55: My fear for this clash is City are happy with a 0-0 draw.[LNB]They should at least aim for an away goal to put in the bank. Mancini's team have been the better side but you just feel they are holding back a tiny bit.[LNB]17.50: Right then, following on from the Fulham-Chelsea match yesterday I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms from the lack of goals.[LNB]That Premier League weekend packed with net-busters seems a long time ago now, City are going to have to step up a gear if they want to win this.[LNB]Half-time: Aris 0-0 Manchester City[LNB] Edin the ball: Dzeko (right) is out of sorts with his header[LNB]45min: Think that could be our last moment of the half. Tevez plays a lovely through ball for Dzeko but the Bosnian just cannot get a foot on the ball to control it.[LNB]Yes that's about as exciting as it has been.[LNB]42min: Finally this game is starting to open up, Aris almost believe they can get at City now and the pace has just gone up a notch.[LNB]39min: It's well struck by Neto and although Hart is beaten, it whistles across goal and past the post.[LNB]38min: Silly decision, silly incident. Hart gets mixed up with Barry in taking a goal kick and is penalised for handling the ball outside the area.[LNB]Replays show at no point does the ball leave the penalty box but now City have a free-kick to defend in a dangerous position.[LNB]37min: Corner to Aris but Neto's cross is eventually taken by Hart.[LNB]34min: Aris looked to be seeing more of the ball, but it's City back on the attack.[LNB]The trouble is they are not playing with enough tempo and it's fairly easy for the home side to defend.[LNB]31min: Michel hang your boots up now son. Standing over 6 ft 2 in, he is out-jumped to a header by Wright-Phillips, who for his troubles comes off worse after a collision of heads after.[LNB]28min: Credit Wright-Phillips here, he shows a good quick first touch to play a ball in to the path of Dzeko. But the striker's shot from 20 yards is never under control and it's an easy save for Sifakis.[LNB]Sky high: Juan Toja of Aris (bottom) fights for the ball with Micah Richards of Manchester City[LNB]25min: Very frustrating to watch this. City are playing like the home side, dominating possession and doing all the attacking.[LNB]But although you have to give credit to Aris for their defending, if they are not going to attack at home then where are they going to?[LNB]22min: Half-chance for Dzeko as he heads over Kolarvov's corner. He seems to have Fernando Torres syndrome at the moment.[LNB]19min: The laser pen incident hasn't gone unnoticed either. With the stadium announcer asking for it to be stopped, in fairness these incidents happen too often in European games now.[LNB]16min: This sums up Dzeko for me at the moment. Akeksandar Kolarov finds him with a low pass across the box but from eight yards out he cannot get enough power on his shot that Sifakis easily saves.[LNB]15min: It's City with all the ball but they can't find a way through, good defending from the hosts.[LNB]12min: Not good. Players are being targeted with a laser pen again. It was Pepe Reina for Liverpool a few months back and now it's Richards who is targeted with a green flash circling on his back.[LNB]11min: Good move from City, they switch it across the pitch and after Micah Richards plays a one-two with Carlos Tevez, seems to get bundled over in the box.[LNB]Only a corner is given though and that is perhaps fortunate for the home side.[LNB] No way through: City's Akeksandar Kolarov's (right) route down the flank is blocked by Aris' Kristi Vangjeli [LNB]9min: With no way through in the box, David Silva has an effort from 25 yards out which is well parried away by Michalis Sifakis.[LNB]8min: City trying to play their stuff but the home side are pressing them all over the pitch, even game so far.[LNB]5min: City have not quite got going yet, if they are still trying to adjust to the atmosphere, I cannot blame them. It's like a massive party inside the ground and everyone is invited.[LNB]2min: Small error at the back for City, a ball in the box is won by Raul Bobadilla and he is only just prevented from getting his shot in by an alert Joe Hart who claims the ball. City defence stood as still as statues throughout.[LNB]Kick-off: City get us underway and right on cue the home fans let out huge whistles. This crowd is bonkers.[LNB]16.57: Great scenes inside the stadium. Confetti is EVERYWHERE.[LNB]That's along with banners and fireworks, the latter leaving plenty of smoke around the ground. Fantastic atmosphere.[LNB]16.53: While Shaun Wright-Phillips is effectively playing for his career.[LNB]He has rarely impressed me at all when I have seen him play this season and he can ill afford another anonymous performance.[LNB]16.50: A few big nights on a personal level for a couple of players out there.[LNB]January arrival Edin Dzeko has made a slow start since his ?27million arrival and alongside Carlos Tevez has a good chance to try and fill his boots here.[LNB]16.44: Don't forget folks following this match we will be bringing coverage of AC MIlan v Tottenham in the Champions League. I wouldn't miss that for the world.[LNB]16.41: Although City will be favourites we are at the stage of the competition where no teams can be looked down upon.[LNB]After all who would of thought Lech Poznan would pip Juventus into this round, Aris could prove to be dangerous customers.[LNB]16.38: I have to admit I am quite surprised at Mancini's lineup. Strong opposition or not Patrick Vieira and Jo usually get a run out in Europe, good to see him take the competition seriously though.[LNB]16.35: Manchester City manager Robert Mancini names a strong side for today's Europa League last 32 first leg match in Greece.[LNB]The Italian pairs leading scorer Carlos Tevez with Edin Dzeko up front in a bid to end Aris' 40-year unbeaten run in European competition at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium.[LNB]Dzeko is one of four changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the derby on Saturday. Jerome Boateng, Kolo Toure and Shaun-Wright Phillips are all recalled to the side.[LNB]16.30: Good afternoon everyone, and no, don't worry you haven't seen two days of your life go past. Rather than it's usual Thursday slot, the Europa League in fact kicks off this weeks European action with Manchester City trip to Greece the curtain opener.[LNB]They name a strong lineup too:[LNB]Aris Salonika v Man CityAris Salonika: Sifakis, Vangeli, Guiaro, Lazaridis, Michel, Neto, Prittas, Faty, Sakata, Toja, Bobadilla.
