Daniel Alves has called on Barcelona to sign Robinho but insists Real Madrid's lavish spending spree is not causing sleepless nights at Camp Nou.[LNB] Barca's bitter rivals have followed up their £56million capture of AC Milan star Kaka by having a world record bid for Cristiano Ronaldo accepted by Manchester United.[LNB]Domestic and European champions Barcelona stole the plaudits last season for some stunning football and for all of Real's lavish spending, buccaneering Brazilian full-back Alves believes his side will top the pile again next term.[LNB]He was, though, willing to concede that if Josep Guardiola was looking to add reinforcements to his treble winners then he could do worse than look at compatriot Robinho, who only joined Manchester City from Madrid last summer.[LNB]"The ones who have money and can allow those luxuries, they do it. That is them," Marca quote him as saying.[LNB]"At Barcelona we are not worried because we are the ones who are going to be defending our titles and it is normal that others strengthen so they can try and win.[LNB]"If I could recommend players, I would ask that they hired all the players here in the national team. As that is not possible, I think a player that would fit perfectly into our team would be Robinho.[LNB]"But we don't have to worry about that. Our team is doing very well, we are the champions of Europe."[LNB]
