All change: Sportsmail's guide to who'll be leaving and joining Manchester United this summer

Manchester United's decision to finally sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid will spark a summer of changes at Old Trafford. As Sir Alex Ferguson prepares to win a fourth successive Premier League title, he was stung by the manner his side folded against Barcelona in the Champions League Final. United are still two European Cups behind Liverpool and equal with them on domestic titles so the 67-year-old might decide to build one final great side before he stands down. Sportsmail looks at other players set for the Old Trafford exit - and who might replace them. SHUT THE DOOR ON YOUR WAY OUT 1. Cristiano Ronaldo - £80m - to Real Madrid After six years and 118 goals in 292 Manchester United appearances, the Old Trafford giants have spared the world from a summer of 'will-he-won't-he?' stories by cutting the Portuguese star's cord. Will create a huge hole in the team but full-backs all over the Premier League will be breaking open the champagne. 2. Dimitar Berbatov - £20m - to anyone who wants him Has been dismal in his first season at Old Trafford. Cost £31m from Tottenham a year ago and although the Bulgarian striker will rise up the pecking order now Ronaldo's gone, his languid style endears him to neither fans nor manager. The £11m loss United may accept will not endear him to the bank manager, either. 3. Paul Scholes - to Stoke as player/coach Fifteen years and 605 games after first pulling on a United shirt, Scholes has been targeted by Premier League side Stoke City to held keep them up for a second season. The 34-year-old United legend may decide to quit to get regular football and would leave with the full blessing of Sir Alex as he can only expect single-year contracts at Old Trafford from now on. Total cash to spend: £100m WELCOME TO OLD TRAFFORD 1. Carlos Tevez (£25m) Having spent two seasons on loan at United, the smart money was on the little Argentinian to quit Old Trafford this summer. But with Ronaldo gone and cash in the bank, Sir Alex can now guarantee Tevez first-team football - and fend off mega-rich near-neighbours Manchester City in the process. The fans already love him and would help ease the grief over Ronaldo's departure as well as taking the place of the shoulder-shrugging Berbatov. 2. Franck Ribery (£50m from Bayern Munich) Disillusioned winger Ribery has already been subject of mega-bids from Real Madrid but they may now cool their interest in the Frenchman. Ribery is reported to be unhappy at Munich and Chelsea want him - but United now have £50m to offer the Germans and he'd be the perfect replacement for Ronaldo. 3. Bastian Schweinsteiger (£15m from Bayern Munich) Germany midfielder was rumoured to be United target in the January transfer window but responded by signing a new Bayern Munich deal. Since then manager Jurgen Klinsmann has gone and Bayern failed to win the League. Great replacement for Ronaldo and at 24, his best years are still to come. 4. Antonio Valencia (£10m from Wigan) Tricky Ecuador winger who is expected to follow manager Steve Bruce out of the DW Stadium. Valencia has attracted the attention of a lot of top European clubs but United's close proximity to Wigan plus the fact he will eventually fill the hole left by Ryan Giggs (if he ever retires) will persuade the 23-year-old to stay in England. Total spent: £100m
