Roque Santa Cruz's agent believes Serie A club Lazio have tabled a 6million euros offer for Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.[LNB] The Paraguay international striker is currently well down Roberto Mancini's pecking order and has been tipped to leave before the window closes.[LNB]The ex-Blackburn and Bayern Munich ace has been interesting a number of clubs and it seems that Lazio now lead the race for his services.[LNB]His agent Jan van Baal says the clubs have held talks and that the Biancoceleste has made a £4.9million offer for the player who cost City £18million.[LNB]"I understand that there have been meetings between Manchester City and Lazio's officials for the transfer of Santa Cruz," explained van Baal.[LNB]"I have been informed about the real interest of Lazio. At this moment I can say that there's a 50 per cent possibility that the transfer can be done.[LNB]"This proposal is official and according to what I have been informed Lazio would be offering 6million euros."[LNB]Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito has confirmed the club are interested in bringing the Paraguayan star to Rome.[LNB]Lotito revealed that Santa Cruz is an option for the Biancoceleste, but admits a deal has not yet been done.[LNB]"The speech for Santa Cruz is still open, but we are thinking in detail about some aspects," he told lalaziosiamonoi.it.[LNB]"We will make the right assessments and decide soon. There are no alternatives to Santa Cruz, if we don't buy him, (Libor) Kozak remains."
