Manchester City target Edinson Cavani has vowed to stay at Napoli next season and repay the club for the faith that has been shown in him.[LNB] The Uruguayan striker joined Napoli from Palermo 12 months ago and scored 26 goals in Serie A to help fire them to Champions League qualification.[LNB]He also signed a contract extension in May to keep him in Naples until 2016, while club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has slapped a £90million price tag on his head.[LNB]Reports have nevertheless continued to link Cavani with a move elsewhere, and City manager Roberto Mancini again declared his admiration for the 24-year-old over the weekend.[LNB]Cavani maintains, however, that he is enjoying life with Napoli and is looking forward to spending another year at the San Paolo.[LNB]"I'm very happy with everything that Naples and its people have given me, and that's why we'll be there again next year," he told Fifa.com.[LNB]Questioned on whether he had noticed that Manchester City wear sky blue, the same colour as both Uruguay and Napoli, Cavani said: "That's true. I'm a believer and all these things do seem like messages. [LNB]"They're just coincidences though."[LNB]Cavani admits he was surprised as well as delighted to enjoy such a successful first season with Napoli.[LNB]He explained: "You always try to finish a year or a season off in the best way possible because you never know what's around the corner.[LNB]"I didn't expect things to work out so quickly but for some reason they did. At the end of the day I think it all came about because I worked hard and stuck at it."
