Carlo's career is a true rags to riches story he started off at non league side Clithroe whilst working full time and while playing in an FA tophy final was spotted by Crystal Palace who then signed him after a few season's down at selhurst park he then signed for Stockport county and made 98 apperences before he was snapped up by Manchester city were he was deputy to Peter Schmeichel after a few seasons at Main Road he then went on to Middlesbrough were he worked under another great keeper in Mark Schwarzer.But 1st team chances were hard to come by so when the chance to sign for Preston came Carlo jumped at it and he has been an ever present since.Carlo is now just one game away from breaking a club record after keeping 23 clean sheets.
