Yeo hangs up his boots

Veteran Macclesfield Town striker Simon Yeo has announced his retirement from the game.
The 35-year-old didn't make his professional debut in English football until 2002 when he moved from Hyde United to Lincoln City, but went on to score 51 times in 157 appearances for the Red Imps before going on to enjoy spells with Peterborough United and Chester City.
Yeo moved to Moss Rose last summer and found the net seven times in 37 first-team appearances for Keith Alexander's side.
He told the Silkmen's official website: "It's been on my mind for some time now if I'm being honest.
"You like to think you can carry on forever but this season has hit home the fact that that just isn't possible.
"It's been incredibly frustrating as a result of little niggling injuries."
