Macclesfield Town have completed the signing of midfielder Adam Murray from fellow League Two strugglers Torquay United.
The 25-year-old schemer has signed a contract running until the summer of 2009 at Moss Rose, joining the Silkmen for an undisclosed five-figure fee.
Murray only joined Torquay in the summer, but struggled to find top form and failed to find the net in 25 appearances for the Gulls.
Town boss Paul Ince had earlier said of possible new recruits: "Character is so important. I don't want someone just to come in and not work as hard as the players have been.
"They've got to be decent people and if there were any bad apples, we'd get rid of them straight away."
