Silkmen still hoping to strengthen

Published: 08 Feb 2010 - 17:33:52

The Silkmen slumped to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Shrewsbury on Saturday and are now without a win in four games. Alexander said: "Hopefully we have a loan signing coming in in the next week or so who might liven us all up and we can continue pushing forward." Macc could be without Paul Bolland for the game after he succumbed to injury on Saturday and was replaced by Shaun Brisley after just 36 minutes. Alexander will again be without midfield duo Ross Draper and Hamza Bencherif, who remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
