Silkmen snap up Green

Macclesfield Town have bolstered their strikeforce with the capture of Francis Green from crisis club Boston United.
The 27-year-old, who has not been paid by the Pilgrims for the last three months, has penned a two-year deal with Paul Ince's side.
Former Peterborough United and Lincoln City forward Green, who scored five goals in 46 appearances during his 18 months with Boston, is sad to see the Lincolnshire club in their current plight.
"The people who've left the club in this position shouldn't be able to sleep at night," he said.
"I just feel sorry for the supporters who pay their money and turn up every week.
"There's also people like John Blackwell (club secretary) who has been at the club for so long. I have sympathy for people like that, too.
"I just hope it can be run properly in the future and that they can make a fresh start next season."
