Silkmen set for clear-out

Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander is believed to be on the verge of releasing up to ten members of his first-team squad.
The Slikmen boss has been unimpressed with many of his players in the second half of the season following the departures of Martin Gritton and Terry Dunfield.
Alexander said: "Of course losing Martin and Terry was a significant moment in our season, but I saw it as an opportunity for other players to come to the forefront.
"However, they had their chance and didn't perform to the level we require."
Francis Green, Danny Thomas, Jamie Tolley, Jordan Hadfield and Richard Walker have all been tipped to leave Moss Rose next month.
