Silkmen land loan trio

Macclesfield Town have signed three players on loan as they look to pull away from the lower reaches of the League Two table.
Defender Ryan Cresswell has joined the Silkmen on a season-long deal from Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, Michael Symes and Neil Ashton have also arrived at Moss Rose on loan from Shrewsbury Town
Striker Symes and left-back Ashton have both signed 'long-term' loan deals with the struggling club.
"It's important at this stage of the season that we freshen the squad up and I am grateful to the board for supporting me in the transfer market," manager Ian Brightwell told the club's official website.
"I am hoping to be able to announce a couple more signings later this week."
