Silkmen draft in Sappleton

Macclesfield Town have signed teenage striker Ricky Sappleton on loan from Leicester City until the end of the year.
The 19-year-old has made just one senior appearances for the Foxes, having previously had loan spells with Bournemouth, Oxford United and AFC Telford.
Sappleton, who played in a midweek reserve game for Town, told the club's official website: "I'm pleased to be here and I'm looking forward to playing game sand hopefully getting some goals.
"I enjoyed the reserve game in the week and I think I did okay. I scored one goal and felt I could have had more.
"But the more I play I'll get sharper and be able to take the chances when they come along."
