Silkmen add midfielder to ranks

Macclesfield Town have signed former Nottingham Forest midfielder Hamza Bencherif.
Bencherif has spent time on loan at Lincoln City in the past where he 12 appearances. The Red Imps were reportedly keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
But Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander has moved to sign the 21-year-old, who can also provide cover at centre-half.
Bencherif has signed a one-year contract at Moss Rose.
