New Silkmen deal for Tolley

Former Shrewsbury Town midfielder Jamie Tolley has signed a new contract with Macclesfield Town.

The 25-year-old will now remain with the Silkmen until the end of the current season.

Tolley was released at the end of last season only for the club to perform a U-turn when he was offered a short-term Moss Rose deal in August 2008.

Tolley told Town's official website: "I'm pleased to be staying with the Silkmen for the rest of the season and now I'm fit again I want to show the fans what I'm capable of.

"We have a good squad here and we shouldn't be frightened to take anyone in this division on."
