New Silkmen deal for Alexander

Macclesfield Town have rewarded Keith Alexander for his work at Moss Rose by handing him a two-year extension to his current contract.
The former Lincoln City and Peterborough United manager will remain with the Silkmen until the end of the 2011-12 season.
He told the club's official website: "People who know me know that I will give my all for the club.
"There is nothing worse than players and managers coming and going and never being able to settle and gel together and now we have stability and a real opportunity to build.
"My next job is to continue talks with the players about their futures at the club.
"We've got some talented players here and we are all confident that we can kick on from here and build for the future."
