Murphy opts to leave Town

Experienced striker John Murphy has decided to leave Macclesfield Town after turning down the offer of a new contract at Moss Rose.
The 30-year-old initially joined the Silkmen on loan last October, before making the move permanent during the January transfer window.
In total he scored nine times in 32 appearances for Town, with his goals proving crucial in his side's battle to avoid relegation from the Football League.
Murphy had previously enjoyed productive stints with Blackpool and Chester City, having scored 110 goals in 384 league appearances during his career.
He had been offered a new 12-month contract by Town boss Paul Ince, but has opted to find another club this summer.
