Lincoln City defender Paul Morgan has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent to end a six-year association with the club.
The 28-year-old Ulsterman made 238 appearances for the Red Imps after moving to Sincil Bank from Preston North End in the summer of 2001.
Morgan, who still had one year left on his contract, told head coach John Schofield he wanted to leave the club in April.
Morgan denied earlier this month that he was on the verge of signing for Grimsby Town.
