Macclesfield Town manager Paul Ince has been rewarded for revitalising the Silkmen by being named League Two manager of the month for December.
The former Manchester United and England international midfielder was handed the reins at the beginning of October with Macc rooted to the foot of the Football League.
But after masterminding five victories from the last six games, the Silkmen have risen up to 20th place in the table and Ince has been rewarded with the monthly gong.
"When I arrived the lads needed a bit of guidance and a bit of belief and the win at Walsall was the turning point for everyone," he said.
"I told the lads if they can beat Walsall, who were top of the table, they can beat anyone and it has snowballed from there.
"We have changed a few things and now have a masseur and a fitness coach. The lads are eating the right food and we have given the club that family feeling.
"The club have given me the stuff I needed and is reaping the benefit."
Ince beat off competition from Hartlepool's Danny Wilson, John Schofield of Lincoln City and MK Dons' Martin Allen to land the monthly award.
