Ince waits to swoop

Macclesfield Town boss Paul Ince has admitted that he has been pleasantly surprised by the players at his disposal in the struggling Moss Rose squad.
Ince has seen his new charges lose 3-2 to Mansfield Town and draw 0-0 with Wrexham in his two games at the helm and he has put any further moves into the transfer market on hold for the time being.
He told the club's official website: "When I arrived at the club, the owners said it would be possible for me to bring in six or seven players.
"But I'm pleased at the moment with the new signings and the players already here.
"Initially I was looking to get in more new players and replace some of the players that hadn't stood out for me, but that's not been necessary."
Ince has so far only added Blackpool duo John Murphy and Simon Wiles, both on loan, to his squad.
