Macclesfield Town boss Paul Ince has ruled out a playing return in the League Two outfit's FA Cup third round trip to Premiership champions Chelsea.
Ince is clear to play again now the transfer window has opened, but he is not about to tinker with a side that has put together a run of ten games without defeat in all competitions.
He said after the 2-1 win at home to Lincoln City: "I won't be playing against Chelsea.
"First and foremost I wouldn't get into the side, second there is no need. My players have been doing a fantastic job.
"The Chelsea game has been so far in the distance we've been able to put it out of our minds, though it has given us a boost and the players have used that as further motivation.
"For me I'm more concerned with Barnet the week after than with Chelsea next Saturday, though it would be a great day out for the club."
