Macclesfield boss Paul Ince branded his first win in the Moss Rose hot-seat as much more important that the impending FA Cup third round clash with Chelsea.
Ince watched the League Two basement club secure a vital 1-0 victory over Rochdale on Tuesday night - his first league success since taking over last month - before playing down the importance of the cup clash with the Premiership champions.
"Of course this win is more important to us than the game at Chelsea - and the five games in between will all be more important because my priority is to stay in the Football League," said the rookie boss.
"I was really pleased with the performance because the boys seemed to have used the news of our FA Cup draw as a springboard.
"They were absolutely awesome, their spirit, togetherness, camaraderie and will to win was absolutely fantastic."
