Horton's uncertain future

Manager Brian Horton is not certain how long he will be handed to try and turn around Macclesfield Town's fortunes following Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Chester City.
The Silkmen are three points adrift at the foot of the League Two table after failing to win any of their opening 11 games this season.
An error by Rob Scott allowed Chester a share of the spoils and denied the Silkmen a vital three points which Horton feels has been the story of their season, while refusing to comment on suggestions he is on the verge of being axed.
He said: "It's all down to individual errors for me, Rob Scott is six foot two inches tall and should have dealt with Kevin Sandwith.
"We've just got to keep working and get rid of stupid mistakes, but the owners and the board have said nothing to me about how many games I've got left."
