Macclesfield Town boss Ian Brightwell has signed his second player of the week after completing a swoop for Chester City defender Sean Hessey on a two-month deal.
After signing 21-year-old Phil Doughty from Blackpool on a month's loan earlier this week, Brightwell is delighted to add another loan player to the Silkmen squad.
He told the club's official website "Sean has been someone I've been looking at for sometime now.
"He actually trained with us for a week early on in the season and did very well during that time. So he's no stranger to the lads and I'm sure he'll do well for us."
Hussey, who can play in defence or as a holding midfielder, has yet to feature for Chester this year, even though he made 31 first-team appearances last season.
Despite no starts this year, Hussey has an impressive CV showing nearly 120 career appearances with Wigan, Kilmarnock, Huddersfield, Blackpool and Chester.
