Elliott makes Town switch

Macclesfield Town have snapped up Leeds United striker Tom Elliott on an initial month's loan.

The 19-year-old has made four appearances for the Whites, but has not featured at all this season.

Silkmen boss Keith Alexander told the club's official website: "Having feared we would miss out on signing Tom, I am delighted we've been able to strike the deal to bring him to the club.

"Much like Emile Sinclair he is an exciting prospect and gives us more attacking options.

"In my eyes you can never have too many forwards on the books and the extra competition for places can only be a good thing."
