Macclesfield Town have handed midfielder Terry Dunfield an 18-month contract extension.
The Canadian midfielder joined the Silkmen in the summer on a short-term deal that was set to expire in January.
But after impressing manager Ian Brightwell during his 16 appearances for the club this season, the 25-year-old has been handed a contract extension.
"I knew when we signed Terry that we'd got a top quality player," Brightwell told the club's official website.
"He's grasped the opportunity with both hands, repaying us in the best possible way, and I'm delighted for him.
"He's going to be a key player for the Silkmen over the next two seasons."
