Macclesfield Town manager Ian Brightwell has opted to keep loanee Phil Doughty at Moss Rose for another month.
The 21-year-old Blackpool defender started Macc's recent games against Shrewsbury Town and Barnet, impressing Brightwell.
"Phil hadn't played a league game until two weeks ago but has certainly not let us down," the Macc boss told the club's official website.
"I'm pleased that Blackpool have allowed us to keep him for another month as it gives me options."
Doughty is also pleased with the arrangement, adding: "I've had a great time here so far.
"I've enjoyed being in the last two games and I hope I've given the gaffer something to think about for Saturday."
