Macclesfield Town chairman Rob Bickerton has vowed to back Paul Ince in the transfer market as the Silkmen bid to preserve their Football League status.
Ince took over at Moss Rose last month and faces an uphill battle to save the League Two strugglers from the drop.
But following the televised FA Cup clash with Walsall on Monday evening, there is money in the kitty for the rookie manager to spend during the transfer window.
He told the Macclesfield Express: "We made over £100,000 from Monday's FA Cup tie with Walsall, but that is of no consequence to us.
"The extra money will go to Paul, but we don't need the money, what we need is points.
"Paul Ince will get all the support he needs, our one and only priority is to get enough points to stay in the Football League."
