Brown delight at Alexander link-up

The pair worked together at Lincoln before Alexander brought the towering midfielder, who can also fill in at centre-back, to Moss Rose on loan from Wrexham last season. The Welsh club released Brown at the end of the campaign and he was quick to sign the two-year deal offered to him by Macclesfield. Brown told the club's official website: "I've got a lot of respect for Keith Alexander. "I worked with him at Lincoln City and was looking forward to working with him again when he came to take me on loan last season. "I know he's been a fan of mine for years and it's good to work with a manager who can appreciate you."
