Macclesfield Town caretaker boss Ian Brightwell is among the candidates for the vacant managerial post at Moss Rose.
Brightwell was placed in charge of the League Two basement boys following the sacking of Brian Horton and is hopeful of being given a chance to lift the Silkmen away from relegation danger.
He said: "I've had my interview and now it's up to the club to decide where they go from here.
"I was pleased with it. I've been at the club two and a half years so they know me as a person, but they wanted to know my ideas and they were throwing ideas at me.
"It was a good experience and I was pleased with the way it went."
