Brightwell blasts Silkmen

Macclesfield Town manager Ian Brightwell blasted his side after they were swept aside 5-0 at Mansfield Town.
The Silkmen were 4-0 behind after a mere 22 minutes at Field Mill and Brightwell was in no mood to go easy on his misfiring squad.
He told the Mansfield Chad: "In the first 20 minutes we gave away four absolutely shocking goals. Our defending was shambolic and the players know it.
"I told them that we must make sure that doesn't happen again as, if it does, we could be in trouble.
"I can't accept letting in goals like that and to let in four in 20 minutes was a disgrace. It is difficult to get back into it then.
"I am looking to get a new defender in, but it has to be the right one.
"I would like John Terry or Rio Ferdinand but, in reality, I know I can't do that. But it is imperative I get one."
