Macclesfield Town goalkeeper Jonny Brain is looking forward to re-establishing himself as a first-team regular after impressing in the Silkmen's last two matches.
The 24-year-old replaced Tommy Lee for the trip to Shrewsbury Town earlier this month before starring in the 2-2 draw with Barnet.
Brain had been sidelined for over 12 months after suffering a broken leg against Stockport County and looks set to play the same opposition this weekend.
I'm not really one for dwelling on the past but suffice to say it's been a long slog," Brain told Town's official website.
"There have been times when I thought I'd struggle to get back playing again. But I was delighted to get my chance the other week and I'm determined to make the most of it."
Brain has made 17 starts for Macc since moving to Moss Rose from Port Vale 18 months ago.
