Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander has urged his players not to think too far ahead, as they bid to pull clear of the relegation places in League Two.
The Silkmen are currently five points above the drop zone, but Alexander knows that there are some crucial fixtures in the coming weeks.
He told the Macclesfield Express: "It may be an old football cliche, but we're not going to set any targets and we're not going to worry about other teams' results.
"We're not setting targets for the season, or for this weekend, because if you do that you can set yourself up to look a fool."
Meanwhile, the club will celebrate its 500th game in the Football League on Easter Monday against Barnet.
Chairman Mike Rance commented: "That we are here to celebrate this milestone is in itself a tribute to the many people who have worked selflessly to support the club they love.
"People can sometimes forget just what we have achieved since promotion."
