Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander blasted his side after they lost 1-0 at Bury to waste a chance to make sure of preserving their Football League status.
The Silkmen are four points above the drop zone with two games to play, with Alexander desperately disappointed by Town's display ay Gigg Lane.
He told the club's official website: "It was one of those games where the players need to go away and have a long hard think about it.
"It was very disappointing and I expect better than that. I told them that in no uncertain terms and it's probably the first time I have had to do that.
"Whether they were thinking they had done the job already I don't know, but we are still not mathematically safe and we have to do better.
"Were they complacent? You would have to ask the players. I am certainly not as we still need to get points on the board."
