Alexander hints at new arrival

Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander hopes to sign one more player before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.

Alexander has already added seven new players to his squad but the Silkmen were humbled 4-0 at Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Alexander said: "I'd like to get one more player in but obviously finances will dictate if that's possible. That's life at this level.

"Jamie Tolley has been excellent since he came back. I'm happy to have him back in, the kid's a good player."
