Alexander has last laugh

Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander has rounded on his critics who were calling for him to be sacked only three weeks ago.
The 4-1 victory at Port Vale was the Silkmen's third successive three-point haul, an amazing turnaround after they lost their first four League Two matches of the campaign, including a 6-0 home drubbing by Darlington.
Former Lincoln City and Peterborough United boss Alexander said: "There were some who were calling for my head after four games and I won't forget that, but the lads have gone and done my talking.
"It was an outstanding performance at Port Vale.
"If you score four goals away from home you expect to win, but more importantly we were magnificent defensively."
