Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander has vowed to pull his side out of a disastrous start to the new season.
The Silkmen have shipped 21 goals in seven games already this term and have yet to pick up a point in League Two.
Alexander told the Manchester Evening News: "I'll get it right and I'm big enough to take it on the chin. It's no good crying about it.
"I knew how difficult the job was when I took it on and that's fine. I think that the chairman and the owner, touch wood, have got the right man for the job.
"I would be disappointed if I hadn't got people's support after six games.
"I'm not one to shout from the rooftops when we're doing well, I didn't do that when we were doing well at the end of last season and I won't be panicking now."
