Macclesfield Town's new manager Keith Alexander has made his first signing for the Silkmen, bringing in striker Fola Onibuje on a non-contract basis. The 23-year-old Nigerian-born frontman, who stands at well over six feet tall, has played for a host of clubs in his fledgling career, but has yet to make a major impact at any of them. Onibuje started out as a trainee with Preston North End, while he has also had short spells with the likes of Barnsley, Swindon Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Shrewsbury Town. He has been training with non-league Southport in recent weeks, while his most recent outing was for St Albans City against Bishop's Stortford in Conference South in September last year.
