Yeo arrived at Sincil Bank in the summer of 2002 and over the course of 142 games scored 47 goals for the Imps becoming something of a cult hero to the fans . He looked to have played his final game for Lincoln in the clubs 2005 League Two Play-Off Final defeat to Southend . He moved to New Zealend to play for the New Zealand Knights . However , less than six months later he returned home due to financial problems and re-signed in January 2006 during the tranfer window .
