Lee Bell is another Academy Graduate at Crewe. He signed a professional contract in early 2001 but he was at the club long before that as a trainee. Bell established himself in the reserves and broke into the first team in the 2002/2003 season, making 22 appearances and getting the goal of the season award. The following season was dissapointing and he didnt make a single appearance for Crewe and he was loaned out to Shrewsbury for some experience of first team football. He worked his way back into the team last season, making 18 appearances but he was loaned out again at the start of this season to Burton.
