Wright: There's more to my game
The 6ft 4in striker, 28, moved to the Silkmen after he was released by Lincoln.
Wright, who has penned a contract until 2010 at Moss Rose, is Alexander's first summer signing and will provide much-needed aerial prowess.
Wright said: "I'm a tall forward, and good in the air, but that's not all my game is about.
"People can see you being six foot four and think you're just there to win headers but I also like to get in behind the defences and try and get high up the pitch.
"I can be a target man, but there's more in the locker than just out-jumping people."
