Strike duo still banned
Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson is again without suspended strike duo Ricky Sappleton and Emile Sinclair for the trip to Northampton.
The pair were sent off along with Wycombe's Dave Winfield during the stormy League Two encounter at Moss Rose, and must now serve the final game of their three-match bans.
Striker Vinny Mukendi could remain sidelined with a knee injury but Simpson will be reluctant to make any changes to his side following the 1-0 home win over Crewe in midweek.
The result eased the Silkmen`s relegation fears and left Simpson in a buoyant mood ahead of the visit to Sixfields.
Simpson said: "The league is so tight that any side that puts together a few games unbeaten will jump up a few places, so that's our aim."
