Simpson salutes Barnett
Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson has paid tribute to striker Tyrone Barnett following his goalscoring display in Saturday`s 2-1 win at Wycombe.
Barnett exquisitely curled the ball into the top corner from 22 yards to help the Silkmen to their first victory of the season.
Simpson enthused: "I was particularly pleased for Tyrone who I felt had his best game since joining the club.
"It's never easy leading the line on your own but he battled hard, won his headers and scored a great goal."
