Simpson remaining upbeat

Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson is refusing to dwell on the loss of suspended duo Ross Draper and Vinny Mukendi for this weekend`s home clash with Aldershot. Both players collected their fifth bookings of the season in last weekend`s 2-2 draw against Southend in the FA Cup first round and must now serve one-match bans. Simpson said: "Suspensions are part and parcel of the game and the way someone like Ross plays I don't think it's possible to go through a season without getting suspended. But I wouldn't want him to change. "Perhaps some of Vinny's cautions were a bit silly and avoidable. But he's a young lad and I'm sure he'll learn from the experience and having to sit this one out. "It's of course a chance for the two players who come in to replace them and I believe we've got the strength in depth now to deal with suspensions when they come along."
