Simpson was placed in charge following the death of Keith Alexander and has since guided the Silkmen to two wins and a draw.[LNB]Simpson served as Alexander's assistant, and his impressive work as caretaker manager has prompted talk that he could be handed the reins on a permanent basis.[LNB]"To be honest I haven't really had time to think about it that much," said Simpson.[LNB]"All I am worrying about for now is this football club.
