Simpson: Lads have been superb

The Daggers had trailed at the break when Lee Bell's 35-yard volley was misjudged by goalkeeper Tony Roberts.[LNB]But Danny Green's double and an Abu Ogogo strike saw the hosts move to within three points of the League Two play-offs as Macclesfield lost their three-game unbeaten run.[LNB]Simpson said: "They're (Daggers) a strong, experienced, physical team, but we could have actually been in front by more at half time.[LNB]"We needed a second goal, but they got one back after 50 (minutes) and their tails were up.[LNB]"The lads have been superb the last couple of weeks and we knew it was going to be difficult down here, they never gave up though and I can't fault them."[LNB][LNB]
