Simpson backing Daniel
Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson believes the best is yet to come from midfielder Colin Daniel this season.
Daniel rediscovered his form in style last weekend by getting on the scoresheet in the 2-1 win at Wycombe.
It was the Silkmen's first victory of the season and Simpson reckons Daniel will continue to prove a pivotal figure.
"Colin's come up for air a bit after it wasn't happening for him," said Simpson.
"He's a confidence player and he seems to go into his shell a bit but I hope we can see a bit more of that from him, because he's a very good player."
